Last week, I posted this graphic and asked a simple question: “Is there a KJVO who will defend this graphic by Jack McElroy using Biblical Hebrew and in light of the other creatures that are described in Job? It is arguments like this graphic that helped me see that KJVO is an emperor that has no clothes. The KJV is a beautiful and faithful translation. Arguments like the one below do it an injustice.” Since I made this comment, no one; not a single person has defended this meme. Not even Jack McElroy. He has been tagged along with other notable and vocal KJV Only advocates. McElroy was given an opportunity to defend his work. At the time of my filming this, he has chosen not to. So after a week of waiting, I am going to unpack this meme and respond to it by showing the utter nonsense that it attempts to argue in support of KJV superiority and purposeful corruption of modern translations like the NIV.
